| The mission of the Molera Alvarez Group (MAG) is to create first rate affordable housing projects that are family friendly and beneficial to the community. Our team has over 45 years of combined experience in government relations and 30 years in construction work, which makes MAG unique among development firms. Our ability to navigate politics locally, statewide and at the federal level, provides our company with a distinct advantage in obtaining the resources needed to successfully develop quality affordable housing projects in a timely matter. By maintaining a small efficient organization, utilizing our in-house experts and experienced subcontractors, we are able to keep every aspect of the comprehensive development and construction process cost effective, yet productive.
In a relatively short period of time, our firm has built strong relationships with housing officials throughout Arizona and we work proactively to incorporate the needs of individual communities into our projects. Over the last two years, MAG has successfully structured the financing of three multi-family projects worth a combined $25 million, utilizing low income tax credits and tax exempt bonds.
