Yvonne studied Public Administration and Communications at Arizona State University and is a student in the Masters of Public Administration program. She has been involved with numerous community organizations and political efforts for over 12 years and is a graduate of Valle del Sol’s Hispanic Leadership Institute, Class of 1999. She is a founder of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP), Phoenix Chapter where she serves as the Director of Communications. Also an Executive Committee member of the National Hispanic Women’s Conference (HWC), the largest gathering of Latinas in the country, she is in her third year as Chair for two of the largest conference events, the Fashion Show and Film Screening. She serves on the City of Phoenix Women's Commission, appointed by Mayor Phil Gordon in November 2005. Yvonne is a visionary and utilizes the experience & relationships she has cultivated to positively impact the Arizona community.
